Oerel train station, approx. 5.5 km away

From Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven, take the Elbe-Weser-Bahn (EVB) to Heinschenwalde and Oerel stations. From Hamburg, take the S-Bahn (S 5) from Hamburg main station to Buxtehude. There you change to the EVB in the direction of Bremerhaven. You can find more information about the train connections at www.bahn.de.

From Bremen or Stade, you can take the historic Moorexpress on Saturdays and public holidays from May to October, which travels leisurely through the villages and stops directly at our hotel, among other places. The joint municipality of Geestequelle lies to the northwest in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme). You can reach the main administrative town of Oerel from Bremerhaven via the A 27 towards Bremen (exit Beverstedt) and via the B 71 towards Beverstedt and Basdahl.

From Hamburg, follow the A 26 and B 73 in the direction of Stade or the A 1 in the direction of Bremen (exit Bockel) and then the B 71 in the direction of Zeven and Bremervörde. In Bremervörde, follow the B 71 in the direction of Bremerhaven.

From Bremen and Hanover you can reach Oerel via the A 27 in the direction of Bremerhaven (exit Ritterhude) and the B 74 (via Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Hambergen, Basdahl and Oerel).

Basdahl is approx. 5 km from the main administrative town of Oerel.
