The Restaurant Schröder is located in Groß Meckelsen in the green heart of Lower Saxony, between Hamburg and Bremen.
 
Our modern and cozy restaurant is open in the evening and by reservation and offers a variety of delicacies.
In addition to typical specialties from the region, the menu includes modern interpretations of classics and delicious menus of light German cuisine. Regardless of whether you are a fan of fish, meat or vegetarian dishes - every guest will be spoiled with culinary delights.

In addition to the restaurant, groups can also take a seat in the Swedish room, in the heated barbecue room or on the terrace. A game on the in-house bowling alley is also possible.

Whatever the season, the surrounding area is ideal for numerous sporting activities such as cycling, golfing, canoeing or hiking. The starting point of the 9.6 km long NORDPFADES Kuhbach-Oste is right behind the house. The circular hiking trail allows you to explore the unique landscape on foot at your leisure.  And there is plenty to discover: on the one hand, there is the Kuhmühlen recreation area with the enchanting Kuhmühler Forest, the small idyllic Kuhbach stream, the mill pond and the half-timbered buildings of the former watermill. On the other hand, not far from the house, the natural river Oste meanders through the open and slightly hilly and cultivated fields.
 
If you wish, you can also spend the night with us.
Overnight guests have 37 individually furnished and comfortably equipped rooms in the separate guest house for a relaxing night. The small but very stylish sauna also offers a lovely oasis of calm for up to two people. Ideal for switching off and recharging your batteries.
