Oste-Schifffahrt

Passenger cruise Boat trip/Schifffahrt Service

The Mocambo is the oldest passenger ship still in operation in Germany.

The Oste, with its 75 navigable kilometers of river, meanders in many loops and twists through geest and marshland,   finally flows into the Elbe in the heart of a large bird sanctuary between sandbanks and mudflats. There, an unexpectedly diverse landscape with varied flora and fauna opens up to the visitor of the excursion trip.

"Downstream"

The trip goes through the barrier out into the Ostewatt to the Elbe. Observe rare birds, seals and ocean giants. It's worth taking binoculars with you!

"Upstream"

This trip goes inland, following the countless bends of the enchanting river landscape, past Osten with the "floating ferry" to the idyllically situated "Kleinwördener Mühle".
On a few days a year, if the tide conditions allow, the Mocambo offers a special excursion trip. It continues past renaturalized lake areas, the Pütten, as far as the "Osteblick" restaurant in the tranquil "Gräpel" and occasionally all the way to Bremervörde.

Registration by telephone is required!

With the guest card there is a free hot drink during the trip.
